What is Nylon?
Nylon refers to a group of synthetic polyamides made of large molecules with repeating units linked by amide bonds. The silk-like thermoplastic material is polymerized in different molecular structures described by the length of the backbone carbon chain, and the position of the functional groups on the backbone.
