Processing and post-treatment of nylon 610 products:

The post-treatment of nylon 610 products is to prevent and eliminate the residual stress in the product or the size change caused by the hygroscopic effect. There are two post-treatment methods: heat treatment and humidity control.

1. In the high boiling point liquid such as mineral oil, glycerin, liquid paraffin, the heat treatment temperature should be 10-20ºC higher than the use temperature, the treatment time varies depending on the wall thickness of the product, the thickness is 10-15 minutes below 3mm, the thickness is 3-6mm, the time is 15-30 minutes, the heat-treated product should pay attention to slow cooling to room temperature. To prevent sudden cooling caused by the stress in the product.

2. Humidification treatment Humidification treatment is mainly carried out on products with large environmental humidity, and there are two methods: a boiling water humidification method, Potassium diacetate aqueous solution humidification method (potassium acetate and water ratio of 1.25:1, boiling point 121ºC), boiling water humidification method is simple, as long as the product is placed in the humidity of 65% environment, so that it can reach the equilibrium moisture absorption, but the time is longer, and potassium acetate aqueous solution humidification method of the treatment temperature of 80-100 potassium acetate aqueous solution humidification method, the treatment time mainly depends on The wall thickness of the product is about 2 hours when the wall thickness is 1.5mm, 8 hours when 3mm, and 16-18 hours when 6mm.
